Closed Note (Movie)- 2007

WOW!!!!

That is my first impression after watching this movie. Every minutes I spent to download this movie (1.36 GB with rapidshare and megaupload:5 days) really worth it. For 2 hours watching, never ever I felt bored. And always the main reason is because Erika fantastic acting though. Second, the plot were greatly arranged and presented really well. Third, the really great song.

I first have watched the preview from youtube (No subtitle) with the soundtrack song played. The first time I heard it, I knew the voice instantly. It was Yui. I hurried download and heard it about 3 times, and knows from the song that this maybe a movie worth seeing. And I was truly right. Combination of Yui song and Erika acting skill is just perfect.

GLORIA...... (Album)- 2010

As seen in the poster above, the album released at 20.1.2010. Disappointingly, today(25.1.2010), the full download for this album is already available.

However, the reason I give links to download songs from here is for people like me who has hard time finding Japanese singer and movie here. Most of CD/DVD available here is only drama. I once tried to find ANY Yui or Erika album and movie in about 5 CD stores but failed.

Also, the song I give links is the songs that already 2 or 3 years past,so it hard to be found at CD's stores. So, the main purpose I provided the links is for anyone to have chance to hear the song from their favorite singer but never heard the song before.

But then, in this GLORIA album case, I'm kinda shocked though, when it is uploaded this quickly, the exclusivity the the person who bought this album has gone. Anyway, I hope CD store will start to selling Japanese songs.....

Taiyou no Uta (Drama)- 2006

Synopsis

This drama is also starring by Erika and quite same with 1 Litre of Tears. The story is about a girl, Kaoru Amane who suffering from an incurable disease called XP (xeroderma pigmentosum), a condition where she couldn't exposed to sunlight or UV rays. So, she cannot walked freely outside home in morning. So, her only options is only doing her activities at night.

However, she hopes to become a singer. This happens after she watched a unknown man who she always observed secretly from her window, throwing away a guitar. She then started to learn music and with an excellent voice, she then can sing and play guitar.

One day, she accidently have met the unknown man known as Fujishiro Koji. They then formed a music band called 'Moon Child' . However, things are not happens as they had planned. Tachibana Asami, Koji childhood friend showed up and his past started to haunt him. Asami is a famous new singer after her single, Wish, gained a high popularity but has a hard time in music industries after failed to create another great song like Wish.

This drama will show how Kaoru and Koji cope with their problems. Also, this drama introduced Kaoru Amane name's with songs like Taiyou no Uta and Stay With Me.

Another tearjerker drama from Erika. Also , her acting is awesome.Yamada Takayuki act as Koji is also very impressive. His blur face of his really makes this drama interesting. The story line is also great. Overall a very great drama to watched....

Taiyou no Uta (Movie) -2006

I have once watched Goodbye Days music video and noticed that this song is a soundtrack of a film. I searched for the film name and found that the movie is called Taiyou no Uta. With high hope that this is a great movie, I tried hardly to download it as it's size is very large. (1.36Gb is not an easy job for a slow internet connection). Takes me about a week to complete, with Megaupload though...

However after watching about 50 minutes, I felt something wrong. The movie.... how should I put it.... maybe a little uninteresting. As I said before, maybe Yui is really much better at singing. However maybe I was wrong to watch the drama first. Maybe this movie will be great if you watch the movie first though.

Anyhow, great movie to be watched and ALL songs in this movie as well as the drama is really really great to heard.

Yui

Yui is the first Japanese singer that really interested me. I first lsiten to her her song in Bleach ending, Life. Then, she sang another song in Bleach opening called Rolling Star. Since then, I have listened many of her song and almost all of it is a really great song.

She tried in acting and I have saw her in Taiyou no Uta movie. But then, I think she better stick to singing as her priority rather than acting though. This is some of her song link...

Attenttion Please (Drama) -2006

After watching too many complicated drama, I decided take a break for a while and enjoying a light genre drama.


Synopsis
Attention Please is a story of a rock band singer ,Misaki Yoko, who lost her mother at a very young age and raised by her four elder brother. Due to that, she have become a tough and harsh girl. However as time goes on, her band member have already looking forward for another serious career and they decided to to disband.

Then, one of her group member and also the person she secretly liked, Tsukasa, joked to her about becoming a cabin attendant. She then travels to Tokyo and applied to become cabin attendant at JAL(Japan Airlines). Amazingly, despite her hilarious attitude in her interview, she has successfully passed and gone through training division before becoming real cabin attendant. From here, many funny and entertaining journey begun.


Along the way, she also have make friends and foes. But, as the story goes on, the foe has slowly turned into her friends.She then met Shota Nakahara played by Nishikido Ryo, also the main actor in 1 Litre of Tears, and he has became Misaki main support to become cabin attendant. She also met her instructor Mikami Tamaki , who is a very strict person. The connection between Misaki and Mikami has made this drama entertaining.

Overall, very entertaining drama that offers you laughter and very worth seeing.

Winter Sonata(Drama) -2002

Synopsis

First drama I've watched through. Also a great drama. The story is not like usual love story, but filled with great plot. However, the story is quite long and sometimes can be a little annoying but this defect is covered by the great songs of this drama.

The story started in 1992 at Chun Chuan where Jung Yu-Jin and her best friend since childhood, Kim Sang-Hyuk. Even though Sang-Hyuk had special feeling for Yu-Jin, she only thought him as a friend. The story also included Oh Che-lin,Kong Jin-suk(Yu-Jin best friend) and Kwon Yong-kuk (Sang-Hyuk best friend).

Later, a new student transferred at the school where they all studied, Kang Joon-sang. He actually will be going to America for studies but studied at Chun Chuan to find his biological father. Due to his cool attitude, Oh Che-lin somehow attracted to him but he seems not to be interested.

Instead, he is more likely to liked Yu-Jin, and that was when the romance begun. However, their love does not continued long after Joon-sang have found out something about his father that also related to Yu-Jin. He decided to leave for America. However, on the way to airport, he remembered his promise with Yu-jin and decided to fulfill it. But then, accident happened and he was declared dead to his friends. Yu-jin was the person to been hurt the most.

10 years has past and and they Yu-jin is marrying Sang-Hyuk.However, one day she met Oh Che-lin friend, Lee Min-hyung, has has identical face as Joon-sang.From there, the story unwrapped and many interesting story begun.

The main actor Bae Yong Joon, played well with the main actress Choi Ji Woo. It's like they were born to played the character. Bae Yong Joon also have a very unique hair though. Overall , a very entertaining story.










Special or funny fact about this drama..........

• Each time any character meet each other, the first thing they do is DRINK COFFEE!!(Mostly) And if you notice, the conversation will only begun after their coffee has arrived.

• Bae Yoong Joon hair is so cool that in some time, I'm watching the drama just to see his hair.

• Yoo-Jin in school age is cuter, while Joon-Sang in the present is better.
• You can see each character change from school time to the present except Sang-Hyuk who remain same.
• I hate to say this but from my CD's, I can see the microphone hanging or flying in some scene, it kinda ruin the feeling.
• All of this drama OST's is the best so far.

1 Litre of Tears(Movie) -2007

I've recently finished watching this movie and as expected it is not that impressive like the drama but I can't blame it cause drama has a very long duration to tell us the story much more detailed. Overall the story is also great and not that disappointing. And also still a very touching story.

1 Litre of Tears (Drama) -2005

I have to admit, 1 Litre of Tears or Icchi Rittoru no Namida is the best ever drama I've ever watched. The storyline is great, the song is amazing and also Erika is very excellent in her role.

At the first episode, I thought that this story is same as other drama. However, as the story goes on, it became more and more interesting and more tragic. But I only managed to cry at the final episode when Aya's father screaming her name as she passed away.

Then, I watched it again from beginning after 2 weeks. From there I cried non-stop. There is something different when I watched it for the second time. The story is too sad, it even affect my emotion. I felt very very VERY depressed because I felt sorry for Aya. It gotten worst after I watched the special episode. After watching it for the first time, my tears is unstoppable

Special or funny fact about this drama.......

• This drama also shows a love bond between Aya with Kawamoto or Haruto. However, her love story is also sad one but does not contain any couple scene (kiss or even hugging), but still showed their loved for each other well. Thus making this drama very unique.

• All of the three main song,

1.Konayuki,
2.Sangatsu Kokona (9 March),
3.Only Human
is a very touching song and and the effect is better if you sing it with translation.

• In episode 10, when Haruto is reading the 'love letter' from Aya, I can saw that at some part of that scene, his nose is kinda weird in someway, I don't think my computer image is that bad.
• The last scene, when Haruto read his diary until his parent visit her tomb, is the saddest part, especially when we can finally heard Aya normal voice when she read part of the diary. After a year of her death part, it shows all the difficulties that she had.
• I have listed some of the special quote from the drama

Episode 3 : Why did the disease choose me? I cannot carry it, if it’s just for the word “fate”.

Episode 4 : I want to build a time machine and revisit the past. If it weren’t for this disease, I might even be in love. I want to cling to someone’s arm so badly.

Episode 5 : Regret. Pitiful. It’s okay if I’m in pain by myself. But I’m also bringing trouble to the people around me.

Episode 5 : I really don’t want to say things such as “I want to go back as how things were before” . I recognize how I am right now, and I will continue to live on.

Overall it is a very very amazing and tearjerker drama. For me beside cigarette and alcohol, this drama have to be classified as hazardous as it is affect my health badly. Too sad to be watched and too cruel to be true.

Erika Sawajiri@ Kaoru Amane

Even though I've said before that I'm a fan of Asian drama ( Japan and Korea actually), this actually started accidentally.

The first drama I watched is Winter Sonata in 2004 or something, at that time I don't really love or interested much about drama, I watched it for only because of curious.

However, in 2009 I watched a drama called 1 Litre of Tears . At that time my focused is on the main actress that is Erika Sawajiri. She is a complete set. Beautiful face, amazing acting talent, and have a unique and pleasant voice.

So, for me Erika Sawajiri is a 3 very different people
1.An actress with huge diva behavior.
2.A cute actress that have a talent in acting.
3.A singer that can sing well.

However, when I did research, she actually have a quite disturbing profile. She has many sexy photos. Also, from what I read, she is kinda have a diva behavior. However, this information is only from what I read and not even official cause I don't live in Japan though. But this video below is kinda answering all my question. But,she will always be one of my favorite actress all time.....

About of this blog

I am writing here is just to express myself in a new way. Also, the main reason is to sharpened my English vocab but this my writing in here will not follow the proper English grammar though.

Instead, I want to share and tell something that is my interest in Japan and Korean drama or dorama and their songs. However it is just a simple review. And for the record, I'm trying really hard to avoid any spoiler in my review though.

Also, ALL of this writing is from me. Every inch of the writing is my idea, non is copied from anywhere except the special quote from 1 Litre of Tears, I got it from the drama itself.

One more important thing, all this review and synopsis is not a professionally one. It's mainly for fun and cause I love Japan's and Korea's drama and have a hell lot of free time.
